100th day of school

In Celebration of the 100th day of school today, our first grade students were asked what they could do with 100 days of new knowledge and creativity. So as a challenge, students could use a "100" and create an image. They were told that any image was possible as long as students used all of their numbers that made up a "100". First students shared with me their ideas and then were asked to glue them down using very little glue so they could color on top the same day. I was truly surprised and extremely pleased with how these turned out and how engaged my students were in creating their one one of a kind image.
